My 1st visit and very impressed by customer service. My 2008 535 with 80k+ miles threw multiple transmission and engine faults over the weekend, and based on excellent reviews I decided to come to BMW Exclusive service instead of the Dealer. The repair (crankshaft position sensor) was a lot less expensive than worst case scenarios of damaged Mechatronix or gear box. What really impressed me was the detailed information I was sent by email before authorizing the repair, including photos of INPA screens showing the fault codes for my car, with date, milage, rpm etc, and photos of oil leaks, worn bushings and so on. This was so different from the dealers 'give us $$$ and we will fix it' with minimal explanation. Also very impressive was being able to talk with service advisors who actually knew what was going on, which frankly I've never found to be the case with the dealer. The one surprise was that the markup on parts was still 50-100%, possibly a bit less than the dealer, but seriously $93 for a wiper blade set while the exact same OEM part is $43 with shipping - true this included labor, but that's a 5 min job. This is probably the same in every shop, so there's no getting away from it. Bottom line: these guys are great and I'll be back.
